Boys and girls are provided separate bedrooms.
Staff at our Small Group Homes work together as a team. Our houseparents supervise the daily routine of children and teenagers in addition to helping the social worker with implementing individual welfare plans. There are study guidance tutors available to help the children and teenagers with their schoolwork. Program assistants organize social and recreational activities to help develop the interests and talents of each child or teenager.
Our social worker provides counseling to the children and teenagers by means of individual interviews and small group activities, helping them to grow as they face family challenges, etc.
To enhance the children’s and teenagers' interactions with different people and to develop good interpersonal relationships, we recruit volunteers and encourage them to establish healthy and stable friend / mentor relationships with these children and teenagers.
We encourage our children and teenagers to participate actively in their welfare plan, home management affairs and activity planning so that they develop a sense of confidence and responsibility.
Our social worker maintains close contact with referring workers as well as family members of the children and teenagers apart from schools and relevant organizations in giving the children and teenagers support as they face challenges.
